The three-day "EDUCATION +" 2018 World Vocational Educational Conference concluded successfully in the exhibition hall of China (Guangzhou) Import and Export Trade Fair on September 29th. Changchun Automobile Industry Institute (CAII for short) was invited to participate in the meeting and gave a theme report of "Cooperation Between Colleges and Enterprises -- Integration between Industry and Education" in the educational forum after the opening ceremony.
As the only vocational college taking part in this exhibition in Jilin Province, CAII gained a lot from it. CAII relied on such tools as booths, brochures, students’ creative works and external propaganda videos to display its 66-year achievements in the fields of talent cultivation, faculty building, school-enterprise cooperation and international exchange and cooperation since its establishment to more than 500 industries, enterprises, visitors and more than 20 foreign vocational education peers from Germany, Britain and Italy, etc.
Mr. Teng, The Dean of Nanjing Engineering Vocational College, and Mr. Li, the Dean of Tianjin Vocational and Technical College, visited the exhibition area of our college.
Students introduced the innovative works to visitors.
Ms. Buschfeld, the vocational education director in GCC of DIHK, and Mr. Wilhelm Dittrich, the Shanghai Representative of DIHK, came to visit CAII’s exhibition area. Mr. Wei Jianjun, the dean of Electrical Engineering Department in CAII, introduced CAII’s internationalization development and basic situation of cooperation in the vocational education fields with countries along the "The Belt and Road" area. Dean Wei said, “in the proposal for a butt joint among "Made in China 2025", "Germany Industry 4.0" and " The Belt and Road "Initiative , CAII would take this exhibition as an opportunity to further promote the reform of teaching, improve the quality of talent training, realize college-enterprise cooperation, integration between industry and education as the main line, cultivate excellent vocational skilled talents, support "Made in China 2025" national strategic development and strive to make it into a world-class vocational college.
